Mark Boardman was born and raised in Essex where his love for music and film started at a young age where the aspiring journalist spent his teens meeting thousands of celebrities at stage doors and tv studios, whilst photographing the biggest A-list stars and collecting autographs at a variety of events including The Brits, London film premieres and music festivals across the UK.
From reviewing gigs for attending after-parties with Vanessa Hudgens and chilling with Harry Styles, Mark has done it all including interviewing stars from Stacey Solomon, Boy George, Made In Chelsea cast, Nick Jonas, Union J to Big Brother contestants and hundreds more!
Having helped promote several hundred unknown and rising music talent over 18 years withhis cult & featured artist segment on MarkMeets.com - including The Brooks, Franklin Lake, Jack Sims, Roadtrip, Exposure, Sharlette, and a magnitude of other unsigned talented musicians who have since gone onto accomplishment many achievements collectively.
Whilst working full-time in his day job, he set up the showbiz site MarkMeets back in 2004 to disrupt the sites that charged the public for news on celebrity appearances including red carpet events, signings, and press screenings attracting a big following, and by going do - giving access to hundreds of people to meet their idols every month.
With an array of first interviews on the site from Hrvy to premiering music videos for a variety of young talent including Eve-Yasmin and Paisley Parc across all genres, the media mogul has provided a platform to create opportunities for all, and is proud to have worked and helped nurture and shape careers for budding performers including Tich, Carly Wilford, Becky Hill, Mila Falls, Ed Drewett, actor and influencer Adam Oakley, and countless others, even assisting them in landing slots at press and fan events across London; pushing hard to get groups too like Concept, Kingsland and more onto music reality shows like BGT.

Besides a handful of appearances on TV and radio, Mark has generally always been behind the camera but has been a guest music talent judge at Live and unsigned and even made a cameo in West End show &Spamalot in London as sir not appearing.
In the height of the pandemic, he finally took the leap and went full-time in media having quit his £75,000 ($100,000) job in the city, and is proud to be running the popular news site taking on new contributors to take the brand further forward, whilst successfully building the PR arm - working on a number of new feature projects having landed some major campaigns for luxury brands with dozens of new clients.
